| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Tom.....Yes we are well aware of your ' anti-violence stance ' , but its really no different than most ( if not all ) people's feeling on the matter of violence on this site , no-one condones this type of behavior , but personally i prefer if other people sings these types of songs ( out or in tune ) then i know they are leaving the songs i love alone , i think the situation of karaoke in Asian bars is much more different than the Australian pub & club scene but sadly violence is a fact of life and it happens in All types of codes ie.. disco / live bands / football etc . etc , i think if you are a aiming to be a ' true ' singer you would increase the amount of personal songs that one would sing and then songs like ' my way ' go right back to the back burner and the newer songs would come to the fore , but just because we've heard the bloody song ( and simular songs )1001 times and are quite sick of it does not mean we should take the pleasure away from some-one new to karaoke and will be doing this and these type of songs for the very first time , please remember when you and all of us started singing karaoke , these type of songs were a stepping stone to where we are now , in other words we all need to be tolerant of others..
