| From the Where2sing.com forum: It is a good point to work out the way Naming and shaming would be done here and it makes me wonder if it is all well worth the risk to do so.
I for one know of KJs that are doingit all wrong but feel If i was to start putting names in here that before you know it I would be putting myself at risk of deforation due to having to prove the reasons why I make these claims.
So what can you do.
1 name a host as one that uses copies at shows. Resulting in possible court action
2 name venues that have KJs in them.Resulting in a venue taling action .
3 contact Mipi or apra with KJs names . and hoping they do some thing about it
4 contact Mipi or apra suggesting info needs to be sent to these venues.
5 using data base of good KJs to send info out to singers telling them of a bad host.
6 Good host hand outs to singers of the mipi info so singers can make a informed choice about the host they support.
7 contact Capital and tell them of host using there music in a burnt format.
8 contact david at W2S and ask him to remove host that are doing the wrong thing off his site and then let that host defend them selves to be reentered into the site.
9 Contact you local member and info them of your conserns to host using disk in venues.
10. stand on a chair at a venue yelling out .. This host is a cheat. lol
I guess there are many more thing that could be done these are just some ideas I have in my hollow head at this time.
