| From the Where2sing.com forum: re ABC my name has been on their producers' list for some years as a 'talking head', going back to the SBS promo. I assumed they weren't asking me serious forensic psychology questions about murder but rather about the karaoke aspect, given it was early morn & I had no time to discuss or think before I went on.. So I changed the slant away from the obvious connotation that karaoke is a bloodhouse sport by mentioning the fact that there are many serious people who drive miles to attend. As for whether 'Karaoke people are weirdos , with a neurotic slant towards whinging/complaining' I'm not sure about whom you're talking. Certainly guests I've brought along think there are many such and hosts talk about chronic neurotics whinging/complaining. Ask Garry & Di if that fits Marg & I. We put some effort into our tunes. We know many others do the same. .Garry & Di leave us nothing to complain about. That's why they're #1.
