To Vic of Rovics, thanks for your thoughts and it gave me a laugh and I feel much better, 'karaoke tragics' is a new phrase in my vocabulary, one such person I told not to come to any more of my gigs last week. The week before he bitched about only getting 7 songs and it was a busy night for heavens sake. Another tragic said he would only support one of my venues, if they provided him with a meal and drinks, as he was doing me and them a favour by coming early and singing. I was diplomatic, but my patience is wearing thin and I have come to learn, that gigs survive without these people and that your success is based on other factors. Once again 'Vic of Rovics' ... Thanks ... as you have shown me there are 'Karaoke Junkies' and 'Karaoke Tragics' and they are 2 distinct and different categories/types of people. I am a self confessed Karaoke Junkie. Perhaps I should get a banner made up for out front of the pub on karaoke nights, 'Junkies Welcome, Tragics Stay At Home'. Anyway, Cheers People.
