| From the Where2sing.com forum: I passed by the Concourse Bar at Wynyard in Sydney on way home. It advertised a very civilized 6pm start. From my short sample, they had some very accomplished young singers. There was great variety. I even heard Enter Sandman by Metallica. All this was done in a small, acoustically-challenged tile room yet sound levels were tolerable even without cotton in my ears. Hmm what the hell's going on?.. sensible starting time to allow an after-work drink?, reasonable noise levels?, listenable singers? This doesn't sound like some people's idea of 'karaoke is all about having fun'.
