| From the Where2sing.com forum: ISINGALL Good to hear from someone in the West, the beautiful thing about Karaoke is how many of us believed 'We Couldn't!' before WE DID and the rest is history.. As discussed in these pages without the encouragement and welcome of operator and audience there would still be a lot of present day 'Karaokeers' still considering their choice, sadly you put it down to 'guts' meaning what 'Courage'? I think it has more to do with atmosphere, the company you are with and the spirit of audience and operator and of course let us not forget the 'Dutch' element of 'Courage' the 'Singin' Syrup'! Once you have the right mix you'll never get the mic. outta their hands!
