I have NOT commented on his singing, nor on his voice, nor will I ever. I am 'but a mediocre karaoke singer', and a past karoke venue operator - who am I to judge that!!??
I have only commented on his ACHIEVEMENTS, and added, and very BOLDLY I may say so myself, that NONE of us will match him there!!
PAUL POTTS' ACHIEVEMENTS:
Do a Google on his name - read the BBC News articles on him - that Final was watched by 11 million viewers (that's half of Australia's total population) - check out how many You-Tube vidoes have OTHERS posted of him (not posted by himself), showing the number of people he has moved to do so - check out how many viewers have watched those videos, showing how many more are moved further - TV news channels from around the world had reported on him and shown clips of his performances ... !! And like I said, even WE are talking about him ...
Some of us in this Forum will reach such heights?? Come on ... !!??!!
How many of us will have Google spit out pages when we type in our own names?? Will one of us get 11 million people tune in to watch us perform?? Will a group of people half way around the world be debating one of our performances?? Will millions of others view vidoes of ourseleves put up by others who liked our performances??
PS: For the record, I am more impressed with the 6YO (yes! six years old!!) runner-up CONNIE TALBOT as a singer ... a little angel with a vibrato !!!!
