| From the Where2sing.com forum: Didn't make it out tonight to Chatty despite having learned 3 duets - one of which had the added bonus of being spot on in my key! WHY didn't I make it out? Cos I'm STILL editing this blasted email for sending to Channel 7. It basically is as long as many of my forum posts. I know they only want name age, phone number and photo but dang it, that's no better than buying a raffle ticket, is it? So, I'm selling as much as I can about myself - repertoire, experience, the Today Tonight karaoke story of 2004, the clip at You Tube of me singing at Chatty and even mixed in a bit of cultural origins for the network execs' benefit cos you can bet they're working an angle for the show and I don't want to be mistaken for 'just another' anything. Trying to condense that all is proving most challenging!!! ARGH!!!

ABSOLUTELY (as in: right back at you)! You'll likely be meeting the hairy faced version, I'm afraid. Sprouted facial fuzz this week and for the moment, I'm liking it. Hope you won't hold it against me. ;) I started growing it out of rebellion against dating. I came up with an acronym. I call it my SAW - my 'Stay Away' Whiskers. Heheheh. Of course PHONETICALLY, directing someone to check out my saw could be misleading....

Good luck! Don't know why you'd be ashamed to audition for Idol. If you want to hit the big time, go for it, I say. That's my motive for trying out for this show - and spending so damn long on the email to get it right!
