| From the Where2sing.com forum: Well, I finally did it... I sang Burning Love!! It even got Robert A up on the dance floor hehe and in his words 'you sing that better than brad does' ... not sure whether that's a compliment or not, coming from him LOL I actually sang two elvis songs, but sung MY way. I did Good Luck Charm in a cutesy 1930's/1940's style, which I got lots of good feedback on, and Burning Love was done red hot country style... further inspired by wynonna's version from lilo and stich. I think more than anything people appreciated a CHANGE from the way they normally hear it at the RSL... *cough* bradley LOL
Johnny B... that little egypt is a GREAT song, sung well... and your moves certainly wowed everyone too. Glad you enjoyed 'our' gig, I shall ignore the westie comment BAD Johnny LOL Will definitely have to come out to Chatty some time soon so I can see if it's 'Like St Marys, but without the westies' hehe. Glad you eventually made it home, sorry bout the cold fingers. I think that Zero degrees was probably pretty close... the bureau of meteorology has minimum of 1degC for penrith, with the 'apparent' temperature at 3am being below zero!! At that time there being a southerly gust blowing... no wonder we felt so bloody cold!!! Hope to see you at ST Pats. And hopefully it is a little warmer...
