Well, I'll give the story credit insofar as it is heavily laced with karaoke asides. I think it's more something for the folk here into dramas or soap operas. Not my cup of tea but since you want commentary, here's my modest attempt *extricates tongue from cheek*.
I took issue with the description of the successful brain surgery as 'miraculous.' I mean, it's an op. Nothing miraculous about that at all. That's called SCIENCE. Bleedin' propoganda.... *grumble* LOL
As for the rest, well, just your run of the mill relationship breakdown. I feel sorry for Susan the soon to be ex-wife but obviously, it wasn't the right relationship for her or BIg Pete. I think there were obviously other factors involved than her physical deterioration. Plenty of folk stick by their spouses under comparable circumstances. Even a KJ of note down here in NSW. Will Pete and Donna last? Probably. They sound suited to each other - Pete wasn't very confident to begin with and people who opt for multiple tattoos tend to have similar self esteem issues. Thus, afraid to risk losing what they have in favour of going for something better, they will stay together. As for fidelity, I think Pete will stray but keep it secret.

I have to apologize, sir. See, it occurred to me that I post a lot on the NSW forum and don't compensate for the readers from other states when I post to the General forum. That is to say, I assume readers are familiar with my character not just from the copious amounts of other text I contribute to the NSW forum but from the comments people who meet me in person post there too as well as just the general banter that I participate in there. So, I realize now it is pretty easy to get the idea I am just a big jerk when ONLY my posts to the General forum get read but I assure you, it is not the case. (I don't think jerks question if they ARE jerks - that's part of what makes 'em jerks, isn't it?).
