| From the Where2sing.com forum: Harpoet.........I myself have been saying that for some years now that....You have not really been to karaoke unless you' have done country karaoke , i myself and others have even been in the local paper with stories and photos , No grand-standing here as many are ' first or second ' timers to karaoke , in fact some have totally no idea what karaoke is all about and are blown' away by the ' technology , and yes for days & weeks also people keep coming up ( in the s/market , at the doctors , on the foot-path , everywhere ) and saying how wonderful the singing was , and although Country music is well liked , they really take to Any type of music and go wild for it all , so yeah if you can get to a country town and its got karaoke , do your-self a BIG favour and go because its like karaoke was back when karaoke was so new to every-one....i live about 400klms from Melb and about 265 kl ms from a big country town and 65 kl ms from a medium side town.
