| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi all......I certainly agree totally with your comments Johnny.B , as i said in a previous post ' the venue holds all the Risk ' , and there is a balance that must be met between existing patrons and introducing ' new ' patrons to the venue , many venues do it well , many Not so well , this author of the Boiling Point is a very selfish , narrow-mined / single-mined who only See's things from there point of view with no consideration for the venue or even the host as they must also find ' that balance ' so they too must walk a ' fine line ' , as i said in a previous post , Comps are not ONLY about the singer who enters into them . after-all I've never see a ' hopeful ' singer 'put up ' thousands of dollars and hope its a success and it becomes a great Comp.
