From the Where2sing.com forum:

I see your issue however from a customer point of view you are basically forcing people to pay you prior to seeing what it is you have to offer. My opinion would be you give people trial logins for 2 or 3 days to evaluate. Base it on IP address or, better still, email address as these are unique. As I said, I would be happy to pay to use the site but i havent even been able to do that given the strange way the site operates. I had my card ready but couldnt make a payment. Forcing people to post reviews is a good way to increase content but it is forcing people to make an investment in your site without knowing if it is worthwhile. Also, how are karaoke new comers going to cope with that if they have nowhere to review? If you intend to hold a grudge because I posted one review in two places - the first one being legit and the second posted again simply through frustration - then so be it. I would imagine this wouldnt have happened if the site was easier to navigate and engage with in the first place. Anyway, as I said - happy to be a customer but you have to make it possible for me to actually do so - which to date you have not.

The gig guide is supported by those who see value in it, and either subscribe or avail themselves of 24hrs access in return for contributing a minute's work. There is no forcing people to pay before seeing anything, and your issue was as simple as your not playing fair. What's this about your first review being legit? You posted the same comment twice, and '...Just let me in god damnit....'' is not fair to W2Sers who do value the site. Unfortunately having your card ready doesn't do an awful lot until you click the Subscribe button and type in the numbers...lol.

KARAOKE in Australia

You've found the #1 website with the original and biggest karaoke gig listings database listing nearly 1,000 gigs across all states of Australia - each listing with full venue name, address, phone number plus extensive information about the gig itself. Read feedback from singers who have already visited the venue, and see information such as songlist size, crowd size, type of singer and even how much applause you can expect when you visit each gig.

Or visit the forums where both singers and hosts meet and chat - including State-chat forums where you can make friends whom you'll meet up with at a venue near you.

And there are the Gig Reviews, the constantly updated 'National Top 10 Karaoke Venues' chart, specialised lists of venues for Under 18s and currently running Competitions, lists for karaoke rooms, restaurants, karaoke hosts and supplliers, and karaoke news from all around the world.

Of course, the best way to keep up to date is by opting in for the FREE weekly Karaoke News Email.
