| From the Where2sing.com forum: Tom - So true - However someone must tell em' they sound Cr- -, Unfortunately coming from a host can and does jeopardise the 'loyalty' thing, my theory is this phenomena is due to the fact the punter is convinced he/she sounds good/great I have experienced this type of singer and copped the criticism that my mixing or mics are at fault. I have a great faith in FOLDBACK a device which I have found this type of 'singer' hates especially if you feed enough EFFECTS periodically into their performance @ the risk of feedback it can prove to be a deterent but in truth Karaoke audiences are too kind (with the exception of the Loud Louts) these singers get a fair compliment every time they sandblast our eardrums,they must have a friend or someone out there that can whisper NO SHOUT! in their ear how it really sounded I emphasise SHOUT because my other theory besides the Fantasy one is they suffering some form of DEAFNESS DEAFNESS DEAFNESS!
