| From the Where2sing.com forum: Oh you may ask what these 2 pubs have put in place of karaoke over the past month as far as entertainment is concerned .......Pub No 1 , up until last month this pub had entertainment ( bands / disco / duo's / karaoke) every Fri & sat night , Now this pub has turned towards a more ' over40's ' pub with a new chef and meals with entertainment once a month & that being a top named country artist .......Pub No 2 ......a month ago and prior to that entertainment once a week ( bands / duo / disco & karaoke ) Now !!! this pub has ' free pool ' Fridays & ' free duke box' sometimes plus $ 5 roasts every Sunday and No Entertainment for the foreseeable future.
Could this be a sign of things to come for the city ? , only time will tell & and God knows what they are doing in the other ' near-by ' towns , i just know its not karaoke they are doing & all of this has NO-Thing to do with bad singers or bad sound or bad hosting or the odd d*ck-head causing a spat or a poor list of songs and mind you karaoke would pull a good few people and they know how to drink in the bush but alas Not enough to keep karaoke happening...sadly..
