YAY!!!!!!!! I wish there was a little more notice though! Funny. I was wishing for the return of your laserdiscs the other day actually! Hehehe. Typically, I can't for the life of me recall the ones I wanted to do now! LOL
One host we know says he got necessary permissions for uploading songs to computer from discs for shows. I know that's been discussed here but I wasn't paying much attention I'm afraid, so if that's a no go, then no matter. Just know how heavy those laserdiscs can be.

I play a bit though probably not well enough to do guitaroke and know several others who would fit that category but I also know of many very proficient guitarists who attend. The only things that might cause concern to guitarists is risk of damage to the guitar dependent on venue or simply lugging it around if they don't usually do so or perhaps being unsure as to whether to bring their own fx units/pedals and amps or if they would have to hook into the karaoke system. That's those who play electric obviously. Acoustic players might just worry about mic settings. Or were you thinking of having a guitar provided as well?
In any case, I'm sure guitaroke could work. After all, so many 'ordinary' folk get up to sing, why not the same for guitarists?
