Guitaraoke are discs that allow a person to follow on screen Guitar Chords so they can play their Guitar along to a song (and of course words for Karaoke).
You play along to music and you can also have lead vocals on or off.
I haven’t started as yet but plan to announce that we will trial it within the next two weeks (if there’s enough interest) and if its a success it may just become a feature say every 3rd or 4th week with a limited amount of time during the night devoted to it.
The biggest problem, according to my daughter Lisa (who completed her music degree last year) is that most young people now days (who play guitar) do not know how to read cords but develop the skills of playing though sound alone.
We will wait and see what happens but if you or anyone is interested then just email me and let me know or alternately come along on Wednesday night and let me know at Peaky (as well as singing a song or three).
