From the Where2sing.com forum:

I have a general question to gain the opinion of others. I note the on going discussions about singer rotations. I ask a few questions based on recent situations.
1. If you call up a singer and they don't show but then later turn up asking for their song (common with new smoking bans) do you make them wait until the next round? Or slot them in still? Where do you slot them in without confusing the person who was sure they sang two songs after him?
2. If someone sings then I call up a duet and it's the same guy who just sung but named differently on the list, do I knock them back, make them wait til next round, make them wait til later in the round? What if they are listed under several psuedo names but each time with a different singer who has not sung. Potentially allowing them many songs per round in a gig where some are lucky to get two songs in the whole night?
I would love some opinions on this as I have seen some negative reactions especially with alcohol involved. Thanks
