| From the Where2sing.com forum: Catman, I was reading your postings about Robert A. Haven't seen him in ages, I know he has been going to St Pats on a Sunday night he said that his name was never pulled out of the barrel at the Band Club so he gave us a big miss. That is the way of things, we get a Security Guard to draw the names out so it is not rigged. I believe that Billy ('Maltese Elvis' as Mick calls him) informed him that our Blacktown venue is putting on a talent contest, so I would not be surprised to see him there. Apparently a few of the regulars who used to go to CCC have been informed about out upcoming talent contest and will be making their way to Blacktown for it.
I don't see it as a problem if you mention the FORMER owner of Karaoke Kapers on here and the things that he used to do to people (and we both know what they were and how immature it was on his part). In some ways being the new owner of that company the things that George did comes back to haunt Mick and me that is why we have changed the name of the company and put Mick and Roz's in front of the Karaoke Kapers. I am hoping that eventually the bad name that was associated with the company will eventually be shaken off (it is similar to taking on a gig like Mic Rophone did that had some not so good comments on it, he has built that up to be a good gig now) so I am hoping that people will see that now that George is no longer associated in any way, shape or form with our show that people will give us a fair go too.
Haven't seen you around for ages either, so maybe we will catch up one day.
