| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Kev ...I thought i'll lay-off writing for a while as some New people have now started to write there thoughts about karaoke and give them some space to ' stamp there mark' on the forum , plus sometimes its like we start to go in circles with many of the subjects , so i feel some ' New ' blood is needed on the forum
by the way i live near the Vic / NSW boarder ,so as i spend much time in the great state of N.S.W , i feel that i'm comfortable to use both Vic & N.s.w lol.
Tom is right about violence in license venues BUT this has little to do with Bad or very bad singers and more to do with how PRO-ACTIVE the venue is when it comes to dealing with people in side the venue or may-be i should say who they allow in the venue in the first place , i personally dislike having karaoke in ' public bars ' , where you are mixed in with ' drinkers ' that have been ' holding up ' the bar for a few hours prior to getting there
plus i feel if a venue turns a ' blind eye ' to drinkers well on there merry way to being silly , just to load the till for that night ,well they are asking for trouble ,
i like going to venues that get a plan together that takes in many weeks to get to the financial goaled that they are hoping to get to , not just ' how much ' they can turn-over on the night thus are willing to be proactive in who they let in or not
