| From the Where2sing.com forum: Wolf, it is a big ask for David to feature recordings. Even assuming there were no storage or bandwidth issue with MP3s, copyright is the main hurdle. Yoosing, Singshot, and Ksolo all seem to have worked out some deal. Maybe Capital Karaoke or other vendor might look into it as they could act as the intermediary even if we had to pay them a few $ to get it started. For me, a trip to even a nearby suburb like North Sydney Rag & Famish ends up costing pretty much $100 with cab, food & drinks and more if with business associates ordering the more exotic food & drinks, so the cost of online recording would be quite competitive to live karaoke. For some people, the international feedback and even acclaim on the Web might well be the new face of karaoke. I note that a 'James' from Australia has achieved the #4 slot on Ksolo with 1392 fans. He says 'hopefully it will help give me more confidence to perform in front of a live audience, thats a major goal of mine'. Hmm ... he sings well yet seems shy of live performance ... almost the reverse of some in the karaoke scene.
