Sure missed not going to karaoke on sunday...missed all the fun and laughter and the association of good friends and those we consider family..
Ceepat: You can ' babysit ' legend anytime you want...lol...Right now he is asleep on the lounge and I dont have the heart to wake him. After the phone call to you and one to Catman and Joan, he just faded off to sleep. He sure had a big day today and its good he is actually getting some rest for the moment anyways,
Lex: He has DVT's ( Blood Clots ) from his groin ( sorry all for the nasty word ) to his ankles. He will be having daily visits from a nurse to inject him with a dissolving agent and working out how much anti coagulant he will be on. Its another kick in the head for a man who dearly wants nothing more than to go back to work and is told to stay home and heal and rest and then gets these because he ' does rest '. He cant win for trying. He is chipper most of the time but this is really getting him down and he is missing catching up with You and Catman n Ray, Joan n Fossie and Ceepat at karaoke along with all the regs at St Pats. He sends his love and thanks to all for the continued support...he has a new motto, something that was on a painting at the Ultrasound place we were at today...it reads ' Tough times never last...but Tough people do '...born and bred in the bush he is tough and no doubt we will look back on this sometime and see how far he has come.
Hopefully I might be down at L.A on wednesday..who knows...might get Legend to come too. I figure with a wheelchair its a safer option and that way he can get around more and have at least a ' time out ' from being Home.
