Yes I did see 'Ice Elvis' with copied discs, he supplies Lou, Leah and another friend Tony with them and I have photograhic evidence that the disc he supplied his mate Tony with is a copy, you only have to look at the label to see that, mistakes everywhere. I am more than happy to show this to you at any time. Ice makes himself out to be the innocent, but believe me he goes around different karaoke shows and talks to people about getting discs 'made' for them. The last time that he bought copied discs into our show at the Band Club Joe threatened to break them in front of him and told him that if he could not bring in genuine discs then not to come back - he hasn't been back since. Lou very rudely told me that I am the only person who kicks up a stink about them bringing copied discs in, and Mick and Joe overheard the conversation, so he also was told not to bring copied discs in. Lou also told me that he takes his 'burnt discs' to the show at Mounties and that they are played there, (whether this is true or not I don't know, or just said to try and have a go at me) Mick and I don't mind anyone bringing in their own discs to our shows, so long as they are GENUINE. We will not have copied discs at either of our shows.
If Ice has changed his ways then good, and yes he may well buy some of his discs at Fairfield Markets, but the disc that I took the photograph of was supplied by Ice, actually it was a mate of Lou's - his name is Tony - that bought the disc up to the panel so that he could sing off it and that was when Joe hit the roof about it. As I said I have a photo of this disc and I am happy to show it to you.
I hope that he has not bought these discs to your show. I know you would feel just as strongly about it as Mick, Joe and I do.
