| From the Where2sing.com forum: I started singing only fifteen months ago and admitt that I do a lot of practicing at home to a variety of music to build up my confidence in front of people. I'm prould of my efforts to date as I had never sang before and wanted to go into a comp to see how I would fare against other singers. Unfortunately when I did I was accussed of being a pro and was treated rather badly by the regular crowd at the venue. I would love to enter another comp but have to admitt that I'm a little worried about doing so. Unfortunately I have to travel to go into one as I live in a country town and if I want to sing karaoke have to travel to find venues. I think the better the singers, the more you have to be proud of if you get a place,don't you?
