| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi All... I've been recommended this site, as I'm 'new' to this Karaoke world. Firstly I have to say, I've been reading some of the posts, and find it most amusing. It's like a little soap opera... (which, yes, is better than just Opera!). Anyway, I have to say I was actually down at Manly on Wednesday night, and I'm not sure, but by the description, Johnny, are you the guy that was Johnny A? I just remember a guy that was in a long black coat? I have to say the place was pretty packed, and there was lots of karaoke 'drunken stereotype' singers, which I know it's all about people having fun, but sometimes, it's such a breath of fresh air to hear and see people who are having fun, but CAN sing too! Anyway, thought you were alright, although Elvis really isn't my thing, but still, respect to you if it was you. There was a couple other guys that were very good though, but I can't remember their names. I know one guy kicked off the place doing Grace Kelly - it rocked... couldn't believe that falsetto, he was even better than Mika!! Anyway, I'm still in the early stages battling the shaky knees and butterflies in the stomach, so would love to hear of the best places, or how to combat those nerves, and look forward to reading the continuing fun, saga's, debates, and general chat!
