| From the Where2sing.com forum: Shazzy, the novelty hasn't worn off on karaoke itself has it!?!? and probably never will. Remember, you are a self confessed junkie, like myself. If I was in business, I'd come up with a good budget package for home use, that would meet the needs of fellow addicts. It would cost more than singstar and onekey, but much cheaper than setup costs for a full on karaoke. The cheaper alternative is a dvd/vcd/cdg player and run it through your music system at home, just make sure you can adequately and seperately control the volume of the music and the vocals. It all depends on your budget and what you ultimately want to achieve. If you want to discuss it further, let me know. As for the meatloaf song, I'll let you know later, but it is not paradise, although let me say this, if it and a certain song by Joan Jet are done and done well at a karaoke, I never tire of them, because to me they are classic rock tracks that either help get the party started or keep it going, as I prefer party hard rock music karaoke nights.
