Billy T . Good topic, I have plenty of nerve everytime I'm about to open a show and it's because of that, What song this time? I do two Pub gigs a week, and although I've been doing these 2 gigs for a while, I don't have what we call regular singers. No W2S singers for some kind of reassurance.
Anyway , I look at the cross section of the audience, Footballers Oh yeah, diners, younger people playing pool and senior citzn. Wow !! I can't sing what what I sang Last week . SO firstly, You must have a very long repertoire and not only long but it has to be a very good mix. I open my shows with songs of INXS, dragon, mental as anything, John Farnham, Etc. Slow rock is good .
