| From the Where2sing.com forum: David .... there's been considerable effort on your part recently to convince us that we are / should be voting for the ''accuracy of the information'' of a gig. This is fair enough for a gig that maintains the same host / show , but when the venue decides to change their host / show , they're looking for a fresh start , don;t you think ? In fact , people aren't voting with accuracy if information pertaining to an old , defunct gig is being retained & averaged against the new show ...the old information is just not relevant . Why not give the new host / show the benifit of a ''clean slate'' ? If you're worried that a gig might be seen to have no info on it ,you could offer a prompt to singers by saying ...''there is a new operator at this venue has anyone been that can offer a comment ?'' At least then you / we would all know the information was accurate . Perhaps another way of looking at is to say ...Who benefits from the old information being retained against the new gig ? Not the venue .... not the host .... not the person adding their bit ...for the life of me , I just cant see any valid reason for keeping old , out-dated , innaccurate info , can you ? ....lol ...
