| From the Where2sing.com forum: If a venue engages a new operator , wouldn't that constitute a ''new'' gig ? If I'm getting this right you both see the VENUE as the gig , where as I (& I think most people) see the gig as what takes place within the venue , ie, the show itself ....eg ...The venue has had Karaoke for years , but this week got a new gig ....or ....the host has a new gig at a venue that's had Karaoke for years .... anyhow the point is that old innaccurate info is being retained & attributed to an operator , even well after they've taken over a venue. David , you said that a sentence stating that (eg) 6 people voted previous info as accurate /innaccurate appears under the new info , but if a new operator has edited a gig's info , then there isn't any previous info for someone to see, so why mention it . Wouldn't it be more accurate perhaps , to say .... ''This venue now has a new operator'' ....instead of refering to ''previous'' info ...? lol
David , its not lost on me that maintaining this site across all the sections & forums must be a huge job & I'm not trying to be deliberately difficult , it's just a suggestion that , to my mind , would help to deliver a more accurate assessment of a gig for a punter perusing the info ...lol ...
