| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi all,
It is with sad regret i inform all who may visit this forum that this thursday will be mine & rohan's last night at Finn McCools or
Norwood hotel as it is officially known.
Booze Bros sold off quite a few of its Hotels to AHL otherwise known as a subsidiary of Woolworths. The takeover of Norwood happened about a fortnight ago & within a week they cancelled 50% of the current entertainment including our very successful show that has been running just on a year.
Regardless that many of our regulars & fans of the show are left stunned by the new managements decision, some say madness,
it has at this stage fallen on deaf ears.
Apparantly according to staff, new management are looking to spend alot of $ upgrading the Pokie venue ( surprise, surprise ah not).
So i wish to say on behalf of Rohan & myself ,thankyou to everyone who came to our show as a regular or a visitor at anytime in the past year. We had a ball every week & will miss the venue, wonderful staff & patrons.
I am still at the Jetty every Wed & Rohan is at the Portland with Laura Lee Sunday nights.
Keep in touch with us as we made some wonderful friends at Finn's ,not just another karaoke show but more a night of fun & friendship.
Hopefully we will have another venue for you all to come & see us at on a Thurs & will let you know as soon as we can.
So please come this thurs to celebrate our 1st anniversary & our final show.
We wish to have a great final night & want everyone to join us.
