In short as Ive said here before that it is not the prizes why people come to the show.(read the reveiws and this will clearly anwser your question as to what draws the crowd) There are many reason why I do this 1 is because I love giving 2 is because I have boxes filled with thousands of prizes Eg 400 radios and 500 elephates 400 stopwatches and stacks more so I wish to share them with the singers at my gigs.I know it changes nothing to the amount of people that come to the gig but I like to give them something to remember there fun filled night. Hell this saturday I may even give every one in the venue a gift.Why Because I can.
you are right I dont need to do this but it makes me feel good and its all about me.LOL
I have a show that is like no other and try many things to stand out in the market place the prizes are a very small part of this.
I guess I own a business and feel that I can run it the way I wish to so thats what I do.
There are many more people a this venue than there are singers most nights about 30 singers and maybe 70 others.
Some venues offer free drinks or meals and some even cash, Some people go for this reason some go for other reasons by what people say to me they come because of every other reason .Not the goodies
I do hope this gives you a understanding as to why I give gifts away at the venue and hope you see that its all about sharing and giving back to the people that support you.
