From the Where2sing.com forum:

Hey Barri Tone...
I see some of the NSW chat has spilled over into the General Forum again. Hehehe
Thanks for those kind words. I don't know that the qualities you listed are exactly necessary for an entertainer to have but I know it comes with the territory.
Absolutely agree with you regarding pressing on to achieve one's goals. There is a saying you may like which goes along the lines of, 'Do not give up on your dreams just because others lack the vision.'
Hoping to make it out to your duets final tonight, so, we may meet at last.
One thing I hate about going along to sing at a grand final that I'm not in is choosing a song that keeps me on a par with those of the crowd of contestants rather than just being able to fudge through songs like I normally do. Can't help it. I'm competitive that way. I have my old faithfuls sure but I am just so OVER them. You know? So, if I do show up tonight, I guess I'll attempt to fudge my way through something hopefully not too off par with competition level. I am kind of itching to sing 'Sweet Child O' Mine' again though as the version the other night cut the song off at the guitar solo prior to the 'Where do we go?' and 'Ai ai ai' bit which is like cutting Bon Jovi's 'Living On A Prayer' before the key change: Outrageous!! LOL So, I feel like there's unfinished business with that song. Hehehe.
The other dilemma is you are a deep voiced male and I'd like to show you're not alone and my singing Guns 'n' Roses would NOT demonstrate that. LOL
Oh well. I'll think of something. Gonna sift through my music collection and see if I can find any new songs I can learn for tonight which fit all the necessary criteria.
