Posts are getting longer here, I see! LOL (Oi! Mind out of the gutter! Thank you very much!)

el barto...
Ah silly me got my wires crossed about the winning places, didn't I? Thanks for the correction and for the rundown of the evening.
Sounds like it was an awesome night!
EC's oohing and ahhing..... mmmmmmmmm LOL When I told a female friend once about Angelo's situation, she was outraged. 'What a waste!' she exclaimed! LOL
I only know one singer out of each winning duo (I think) with the exception of Peter & Rita, and they're all very good. I think you and Jun are both great singers too and I hope to hear you and Crom sing together again at some point. Did he have a fun time (and not just from the tequila hehehe)?

Mic Rophone...
Thanks mate. I wondered what was going on when the throat suddenly seized up and the voice box seemed like it had been bewitched into silence LOL Ah those tricky bubbles!
Two great things about your screen set up (I think) are 1: the audience gets an unobstructed view of the singer and 2: you can move about without fear of knocking the screen off stage. As a host you have the comfort knowing that IF anyone was terribly drunk on stage, they aren't going to knock it over by accident either. I haven't seen any such singers there anyway so I doubt it's even on the cards *chuckles at the accidental pun regarding magic*

Lex...
And people think, I'M obsessed with EC! LOL What's with the 'ewww' about chocolate kisses? Are you one of these weird folk who doesn't like chocolate (or just one of the other weird ones)? There are even chocolates CALLED 'kisses' y'know? Hmm. EC and MC (Mouth Candy) What a combination! LOL
You're the BAD girl of karaoke, aren't ya? (See? THAT'S an example of how to make it karaoke relevant! [In-joke, folks])
Thanks for the compliments. I'm surprised 'Zoot Suit Riot' went over so well given the smoke / bubble breathing killing the voice for that first chorus. I guess people thought it sounded like an audio problem akin to that of a drive through intercom system at a fast food joint: 'Zo-- -ui- R-ot. Thr-- b--- - b--tl- -f -eer! Z--t Suit - R--t! Pu.. a --mb- thr---- y--- ---l bl--- ----.' LOL That and it's such a great song. It's easy to put your all into that one.

Alisa...
Ah. No wonder I didn't recognise it (only familiar with 3 or maybe 4 Backstreet Boys numbers). Still sounded good! Well done.
