| From the Where2sing.com forum: Mic Rophone... no problems about sending Jimmy over, he just couldn't stop laughing, it was like he was on happy gas or something every time I spoke to him, he was just about falling on the floor in fits of laughter, which made me chuckle too... unfortunately you can't hold much of a conversation with someone laughing so hard, it's difficult to get the words out LOL but I'm alway happy to meet new people.
I wouldn't worry about perception the prizes or other 'gimmicks' at your show... Your show is heaps of fun FULL STOP, and they may add to it (th smoke and bubbles defiitely add to the fun atmosphere) and the prizes may bring people at the start, like a little kick in the pants to get people to check it out, but it's the show as a WHOLE that's gotta keep people coming back... and your has it all :-D

Johnny B... I think the main problem was that I was more interested in his FRIEND... and while I do love chocolate, I don't appreciate having someone smoosh.. um no.. PASH chocolate on my face UNINVITED! I would have been happy with a quick peck on the cheek before leaving, because (here we go linking it back to karaoke again LOL) him and his friend did tell me I was the best singer in the house (but once again I think that might have had more to do with the legs than the voice LOL) Their words... 'You're the best singer and the best sort here... you've got it all' PAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
