Your right 6 hours is a long haul and considering I would be at work at 5.30am the next morning with no sleep at all Im sure it will age me very fast. Last Saturday I unloaded at home by 2.30 reload my car for work by 3.30 and laid down for 1 hour before getting up to go to work on sunday for 5.30.Yes I tell ya this is going to get me in the end as I am not a sping chicken anymore.LOL I have done 6 hour gigs before at private venues its like working a 8 hour day and my last day job was 10-12 hours a day so 8 is not to bad.
Two songs in a night when i go out is sometimes not enougth I like to get 3 if I can. Each week seams to be different at the Brewhouse some weeks are full and others a little less but I am sure by summer the 6 hour show will be needed.
As for a long wait to sing this can drive me nuts if the venue is not pumping with fun if the fun factor is there the time goes quick.
Not every one at the brewhouse is a singer so dancing is what alot do as well as taking and stuff.The place fills up at nine and empties out at 1 and the place is open till 4am so there is room to go 6 hours at the venue.
