| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Mic ......Before i go ' back under my rock ' , I and others have said on this forum before that sound is in the hands of the beholder , I've been to lots of shows where the ' loudness ( Vol )' is Low But the mix is poor and it hurts my ears ,same as when music is ' loud ' and mix is poor , i just have to leave the venue BUT I've been to many shows where the equipment is top quality and the mix is near to spot-on and the ' Loudness' is a pleasure , so i think its go little to do with your fun old saying ' if the music is to loud ,then your too old ' , its more to do with ' the mix ' and the equipment used.........OK enough said , back to my rock ...by All
