From the Where2sing.com forum:

Hi all and thanks Songbird67 for having your Birthday Party at Peakhurst Inn.
Yes it was the quietest night we have had for the last 9 weeks and if you guys hadn’t been there it would have been the worst since around 3 years ago.
As I keep all the song sheets (and have for the last 4 odd years) I can go back and look at how the numbers have been and who sang what.
Over the last 9 weeks the numbers have been (in order since the 25/7/07) 23, 34, 30, 34, 28, 30, 28 and last night 25.
There may be two reasons for this, with one of them being that they have just taken down the words Wednesday Karaoke from the sign outside the Hotel that passing traffic can see and have done this to promote other things happening at the Hotel.
Secondly I informed everyone last week that we were expecting a big group of people for a Birthday Party so come early.
Either way it was down but hey you guys made the night and I thank you.
The big question that should be asked now is “did you all have nightmares last night”, from me half taking of my shirt when Puss in Boots sang “I’m to Sexy”. Lol.
So to Songbird67 (Birthday Princess), Puss in Boots, Liza, Harpoet, Lex, Ceepat, Music Addict and Johnny Burrows a BIG thank you for coming such a long way to share in Songbird67 Birthday Bash night, it was (words taken from JB act) pure MAGIC.
As the old saying goes “it’s always nice to know nice people”
PS ………..Don’t forget to look at my Web Page as each week I put up how many singers we had and also the names of the singers.
I will use your W2S names to protect the innocent. Lol
Kind Regards
Kev
