Well, I'll be hornswaggled. You guys know her too, eh? Karaoke is an incestuous family innit?
We used to duet together too with Love Shack and have 'dance offs' to pit our moves against each other. She used to love timing it so we'd each do the splits at the same time. Was very effective for keeping the crowd entertained. For a while, I was the better dancer in her mind. I never thought so. Eventually, she FAR surpassed me (the little so & so LOL)
Listened to her stuff at myspace. She's still got it! Am happy she is getting out there and establishing herself in the industry. She has so much passion for her art and is just so damn good at it. One of the keyboardists early on in the band phase remarked how he felt like an amateur with her given how she was able to play better than he was even though she was self taught and he was at grade 8 piano level (translation: VERY good).
As I've said time and again, there are people at karaoke who can blow your socks off with their world class talent and she's definitely one of them.

Was gonna post and confirm with you the name of the joint but you had us swear (ie: you BEGGED us) to never mention that night again. Now that you have laid the way though.... Hehehe. Di has said Lidcombe / Berala with several visits and yet I was so sure it was an Auburn venue that only got that one visit. What say you as to the location / name of the place?
