| From the Where2sing.com forum: Tom: seriously....and with respect.....I dont think I would even want you at any of my venues.........you may be totally different in real life.........however your posts on W2S over a long period of time now create in my minds eye the image of the ultimate Karaoke pedant.....with the mindset of someone about ready to move to the 'Sleepy Hollows' retirement Village.?....seriously my friend get a life and find another past time ....Karaoke is obviously not for you.........
OMG ! over the years of hosting Karaoke ,when I think of the number of awesome,vibrant,switched on,full of life,60-80 year olds that we have had sing with us..... those 'Old Folks' who have enjoyed the loud music ....who enjoyed the vibe.....who joined in the celebration of life and all that it brings ...and were well accepted and respected by youngsters 1/4 their age..those so called 'senior citizens' participating in the joy of just 'being alive' and just to be able to sing a song!!.........good bad or otherwise.......no matter!...These are the people I respect and admire!!...........I only hope I can maintain the fire!! until I am 80!!..............for you TOM its already to late!! and I would suggest joining a chess or macrame club....maybe bird watching? ...or some other more relaxed and sedate pastime and stop being so negatively critical of something based solely on the perception of someone ready for the grave.....your overall perception of Karaoke I find breathtaking!..(vic shakes his head in disbelief).sheeeshhh!
