| From the Where2sing.com forum: RD - yes the launch was great. I wasn't able to hang around too long after she came off stage but I at least got to say hello to Lindsay afterwards before I left. My partner and I have been playing the EP all week both at home and at work, it's got some great songs on it.
JB - Just for the record, I hadn't heard anything about the situation between you guys and i'm sorry to hear things haven't been great. Hopefuly things can turn around again. Sadly I'm not aware of what happened to Ritchie. I think the world of him but have lost touch totally. Last time I saw him he was talking about becomming an exotic dancer and with his body, he could definately do it!
The days of Earlwood, Bexley North etc were fun times indeed and it's a little scary how fast the years have flown by. I second your comments about the respect Lindsay has always shown karaoke and the people who are a part of it. You are right that a lot of 'serious' musicians look down their nose at the entire karaoke industry but Lindsay never was one of those and still isn't. Next time I chat to her, I'll pass on your message.
