I am not yet living life to the max. In fact, I barely qualify what I'm doing now as 'living.' There's so much I want to do and hard headed sod that I am, I aim to achieve my goals or die trying. I don't give up easily. Sometimes more patience one thinks one has is required but so far, for all the rotten bits of luck I've had along the way, I've also seen I can achieve things when I put my mind to it. I'm 1 week into my 12 month commitment to getting a big break and have already made progress. I ought to have several weeks peace coming up for getting some decent recordings done at long last which I hope your Ray can mix / master for me to radio friendly quality. Then it's uploading those to my website (along with better quality versions of the ones already there), creating a myspace page as an independent artist which I have had planned for the better part of the year and tapping my industry contacts for assistance in going pro at long last. That's my plan for this next 3 months.
I'll still be a karaoke nut and forumer both in the meantime and afterwards, naturally.
Sorry I missed you and Ray last night but I am glad you had fun.
Cabramatta, eh? 10 years ago, I would not have advised that (nothing against the karaoke but because of the - at that time - 100+ member strong 5T gang vs the mere 22 police officers on that beat). Have things changed for the better there now?
