No karaoke for me this weekend. :( Shortly heading over to my magician friend's place in Mosman. We were going to go to the Rag 'n' Famish tonight but we're both broke at the moment, so that isn't going to happen. I would go but I don't want to free load and only have water. If there is no EC there, I won't have anyone to buy me drinks either. I missed Chatty last night for the same reason. Did I miss anything good there (besides the company of friends)?

Thanks guys for making me reassess myself due to your criticisms.
It is all the more rewarding now to go out, give performances my all and be told I'm too professional for karaoke and berated for not being a fully fledged professional recording artist just yet (even if I stuff part[s] of the song).
Getting over my hang up of my looks has worked wonders for me too and I'm attracting women like crazy with my new-found confidence - and guess what? They all think, like many other extremely attractive women before them, that I'm hot stuff.
So, hurtful as it was, I am really grateful to the 3 of you for giving me a much needed kick to the ego. You've helped me change my life for the better and each day is better than the previous.
Coincidentally, shortly after all the talk of marketability, my father suggested I write a song in a particularly marketable style I'd not yet tried composing in and the song I came up with sounds pretty darn good if I say so myself. I'm so looking forward to the days where my songs are not only popular but sung at karaokes across the globe.
