It might just be me having a Blonde week but 2 things.
1- I would like to place my own speel on my gig listings like some have at the moment with the $12,000 comp details, how can i write my own information on my venues without using the list provided. I would like to include my own words and tell of the prizes ect but cant work out how. I want this information on the main viewed page, not in the coments page.
2- ( A real blonde one) I need to list a new gig and keep getting directed to the search for a venue page. What am i doing wrong REPLY from David
Many thanks for your clarification.
1. Most of the information must be selected from the lists, and I need to do this is order to keep the information measures standard, and in the future of the website so people can search gigs matching advanced criteria. But at the foot of the 'List a Gig' page in the Competitions section there are boxes in which to insert the prizes - and at first look this seems to me as though it'll satisfy your need for detailing your prizes.
2. If you're being directed back to the main page when you try to list a gig, I'm guessing that you're already at Stage 3 and being told that the gig you are trying to list already exists? If this is the case, you are being directed back to find the gig in the main listings and go from there so that the database knows whether you have the right to Edit this gig listing. If this is the case, but the gig you want to list doesn't have an Edit button displayed on the main page, please tell me which gig this is so I can check who curently has control of the listing (and why).
But if the gig you are trying to list doesn't currently exist, and you're still getting the message pointing you back to the main list, please tell me which gig you want to list, for which day and with what Frequency, and I'll check it out. The programming on the 'List a Gig' page is especially complex, and there may still be logic bugs in how it operates.
