| From the Where2sing.com forum: Actually, it could be a simple addition to the main page. Where it currently states however many posts are unread and in which forums, it could include the number of users online. If we see there is a number of users online but or a lesser number (incl 0) in any of the forums, we can assume the 'missing' users are only logged into the main page and not reading any forum at that moment.
Sorry David. I don't know if that's all a coding nightmare. If so, I'm sure you'll figure out something simpler should you decide to introduce that function which is my suggested alternative to instant chat.
