I had mentioned in my past email that we werent prepared to subscribe but now find it difficult to pass info on to our punters where other gigs are in there area and methinks the majority will not pay the fee either judging by the people I have already mentioned it to, the other option you have to get this info is by placing comment re other gigs this is a tad difficult for us as we are working seven nights. However we have still left your flyer in our books...we are in the process of making up new books an will be completed in a few days do you have new flyers or still use old one? can you email it to me so i can run copies for my books..Ta muchly

Hmm, there's certainly some food for thought there (glad you like the site changes).
Although it's very kind of you to your singers to pass on to them information about other venues in the area, it doesn't really help get these people to W2S themselves. And the recent changes have been in the way of seeking more involvement and feedback from singers, so the ways that W2S needs to be promoted really needs to bring singers to the site.
A benefit to you would be to have your singers come to the site, visit the Forum and select one of your venues as their Favourite on the way to the Forum (so you end up in the Top 10 Venues list). Or for singers to come to the Gig Listings, submitting feedback on a couple of your gigs on the way to the Gig Listings.
I'm not convinced that the old W2S Insert Sheets are of great value, and I'm currently pondering some different system. Certainly the old Insert Sheets are well out of date, and now incorrectly represent the website.
I have a bit of a 'ponder' to do with regards to the whole question of advertising of W2S at gigs, and now that the site is done for a while, I'll more of an urgent 'think' about this subject.
