| From the Where2sing.com forum: Yeah yeah yeah Tom i think most people know here that with music its ' horses for courses ' , i know of some venues in which if those great Irish ballads are sung ( and i love them & indeed sing some of them ) they would be bored to tears and i know of venues where ' coldplay ' songs go over really well ( i love them & indeed sing some of there songs ) , the idea is to have a large / wide range repertoire and you can ' fit-in ' with any crowd that you come across , i did a concert last week where the crowd where 90 percent over 40 , i wonder if you could name the 20 songs i did ? , i will say if i was entertaining crowds Under 40 i'll probably only do 2 or 3 of these songs ...Be happy with All music because its pleasing and making some-one happy , some-where ..
