| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Greg, As MA said it went off. The management and I were amazed at the turn out for the first Karaoke show, it was also the first Monday night they had even opened the bar!
At one point there were just over 100 people in the bar but amazingly only 9 seperate singers. There was only one problem... everyone went out pretty hard at the bar early and we had to close at 12 instead of 1am.
That still meant a 4 hour show (8 til 12) but I would have liked to have gone til 1am as most of the youngsters had just warmed to the idea of singing.
Expect this Monday night to be around for some time! Many thanks to Dave for mentioning the show in the newsletter and also to all the W2S'ers that turned up.
