James I guess when you pay peanuts you get monkeys. The problem is that when a no frills gig goes into a venue and stuffs it up than good quality operators can never get a look in once the no frills show fails.It is these cheap rubbish shows with the rubbish music and PA that is bringing down the standard of the industry.These days some one can set up a show with a basic player and super cdg,s as well as a rubbish PA and MICS and get change from $2000.00 so 10 x $200 shows can pay for this set up.
A good show should be able to get the dollars
