I agree with Music Addict that you undersell yourself but humility is a nice quality to have and a most endearing attribute. Mind you, back when I used to be shy (yes ME shy!) and modest (ditto!) people told me off a lot and took the micky for my 'aw shucks' type reactions to compliments. Nowadays, I get pegged as arrogant a lot which just goes to show you can't please everybody, eh? lol
Nice to hear folk have been having fun at karaoke this weekend. I would have been at the Brewhouse myself tonight but was enjoying my first foray into composing music in the style one could associate with HIM, Nightwish and Evanescence instead with a bit of Jim Steinman thrown in.
I may have a few less weekends free for karaoke in the near future as my magician buddy has got me marked to do gigs with him (as a magician) including a possible spot on an instructional DVD to teach one of my regular tricks. I'd rather be singing but the cash-ola is needed, so gonna have to sacrifice a few nights out alas :( At least performing magic is an enjoyable way to spend a karaoke-less evening. =)
