| From the Where2sing.com forum: Songbird, the fall I had was back in Feb of this year.
I decided to dress up for my bestest friends birthday celebration at the RSL and wore my wedding shoes (have not worn them since weddng day). they are high heels. i am not acustomed to wearing heels. Although I wish i could have an invisable pair. i have so many tall friends and hubby is tall and I feel so close to the ground...ANYWAY.....i went up to joan and foster to sing my song and they had the wrong one. so i headed back down the stairs and across the floor
then my left foot gave way, i went over on my anke, it cracked, then fell forward, going over on my right anke too and then landing smack on my left knee before rolling over and falling on my back with legs in the air! Attractive hey!
I could not move, so was lifted onto a chair and someone grabbed me ice. Next minute I was in the ambulance. It was all very blurry.
At the hospital, they did not much for me but an x-ray.
2 weeks later i was at the chiroporactor to be fixed up. from the fall i had put my pelvis out and my back out in 3 places. Youch!
So there you have it!
I was a bit nervous about going back cause i felt so silly from falling. and as i got up to sing on my return foster was very loving in telling everyone about what had happened the fortnight. he said i should have sung 'Falling into you' or 'Fallen'. LOL
